Georgia Republicans are determined to vote “come hurricane or high water,” and the state needs former President Donald Trump like he needs it, Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., said Tuesday.

“We’re going to vote and we’re determined,” Carter told Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “I can assure you, that’s why you’ve seen such a turnout in the early voting because people know and we’ve learned our lessons over the years.”

Typically, Republicans prefer waiting until Election Day, but “you may have inclement weather,” Carter said. “There may be something personal [that] comes up. So we’ve been encouraging people everyone to get out and vote and vote now, and they have done it.”
