The high turnout in early voting in Georgia’s election shows Republicans responded overwhelmingly to calls to vote early, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones told Newsmax on Tuesday.

“I think that was the message that the Republican Party was putting out there,” Jones told Tuesday’s “National Report.” “We put a strong emphasis on us getting people out to vote and getting and banking your vote early and not trying to depend on Election Day.”

Republicans were motivated as well because they see the issues with the economy and the border, Jones said.
