Braun Defeats McCormick in Indiana Governor’s Race

Republican Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., has defeated Democrat Jennifer McCormick for the open seat in the Indiana gubernatorial race.

Newsmax called the race for Braun shortly after polls closed Tuesday.

Braun, endorsed by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in 2023, won a six-way GOP primary to take on McCormick, who ran uncontested in the Democrat primary.
