Minnesota Democrat Rep. Dean Phillips, who is not seeking reelection this cycle, told Newsmax on Tuesday that political division has always existed in America, but it is one’s own choice how to respond to it.

“I look at Dixville Notch as such a metaphor for our country right now,” Phillips said.

Phillips’s remarks come as the tiny New Hampshire township showed a tie vote, with three votes for Vice President Kamala Harris and three votes for former President Donald Trump.
