Digital Sales Manager (DSM): Great Ideas, Solutions and Stellar Service The Digital Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for increasing pure digital revenue and the digital customer base. The DSM will package and sell (individually or within the team) all digital assets regardless of channel.

·       Interpret and explain advertising performance metrics to the sales staff at its regular meetings.

·       Staying abreast of IAB recommendations and changes

·       Monitor campaign performance and adjusting placement settings as necessary

·       Provide, explain and present site and campaign results to staff and clients as necessary

·       Identify markets to target with digital products; assist with new product development and create the sales plans, pricing & materials for new products.

·       Orchestrate promotion of digital products when necessary

·       Customized Audience Extension

Specific, repeatable tasks

1.Weekly

a. Review current forecasted avails by channel

b. Review competitor platforms with sales reps

c. Provide campaign pacing information

d. Present ongoing sales efforts; successes and challenges

e. Train and retrain on concepts, terminology

2.Monthly

a. Review monthly site statistics

b. Prepare and deliver performance reports for active campaigns

c. Update and present next quarter’s calendar of product/projects
